Easter is called “Pasqua” in Italy.

It is the most important religious feast in the Christian liturgical year. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus which Christians believe occurred the third day after his crucifixion.

It is a movable date, not fixed. This year it is on March 23rd.

In Italy Easter is celebrated by the Church but there are also non religious traditions and a lot of good recipes.

Easter is called “Paste” in Romanian and we celebrate it on the 27 April this year.
What’s the word for Easter in the other countries represented in this project?
